Bilic Gives Toon His Seal Of Approval For Modric

Bilic Gives Toon His Seal Of Approval For Modric

Luka Modric is being linked with some of Europe's top clubs but it is the Toon that appear to have stolen the march on everyone else with him preparing to switch to St James' for a fee between £15million and £20million.

This move has been approved by Croatian boss Slaven Bilic: 'Newcastle are a big club and I believe a move there would suit Luka,' Bilic said in the Daily Star. 'They are the next club underneath the 'big four', on a level with Tottenham but they are stronger financially than them.

'And I think they can do bigger things because of this.'

The Croatian national players hold Bilic in high regard so if he is publicly supporting Modric's proposed switch to St James from Dinamo Zagreb there is a good chance it could happen, but do you think it will?
