'If It's Football, It's Vital'

New Drogba linked

In a story first broken by the Chronicle (shock horror!) this morning`s papers are circulating the story that we are interesting in St Etienne striker Bafetimbi Gomis - dubbed 'the new Didier Drogba' in some circles (Ed - a lank haired diver?). The paper speculates that a £9m bid could be in the offing for the player. Obviously a lot of this is dependent on us staying up, which makes the notion of us bidding for any player a bit 'wide of the mark` at the current time.

Don't think its strikers you need to be honest. Try looking for the new Rio Ferdinand or John Terry instead i say.

I'd agree welshboy - outside the "big 4", you have probably the best attacking line-up. It's just defensively you need help.

Agree with you both! You have to tighten up your back four!
