Mass purge this summer

Mass purge this summer

Regardless of whether we stay up or go down the club seems set to wield the axe on a number of players this summer. In the out tray are Carr, Viduka, Emre, Ameobi and Enrique. Enrique was this weekend linked to a move back to Spain with Real Zaragoza whilst a Turkish return seems on the card for the tubby one. Bolton have also been linked with a move for Carr who should find the Championship more his level.

We love you Les cos your pathetic, clear out starts with the joke of a manager and you are never going to keep or even pay the wages of player like Duff on 60k a week in the Championship.

I think Emre is a good player but needs to be put on a Spurs style diet and exercise regime.

you might lose a lot of players as relegation does that to teams

ozanne - I don't think the toon are going to be relegated - they're a league above Derby, Birmingham, Fulham and Reading.
