Steve Harper - 7 - Some cracking stops in both halves.
Habib Beye - 6 - Tempted to award him an extra mark for throttling Pedersen.
Steven Taylor - 5 - Struggled, overshadowed by Faye, and made dodgy clearances.
Abdoullaye Faye - 6 - Half decent and nearly got a goal from a set play.
Jose Enrique - 7 - Looked tidy all day and gave us some balance.
James Milner - 7 - Tried hard, got the sponsors` MOTM which is always a worry.
Joey Barton - 5 - Shite bar a couple of balls to Owen. Runs like he wears diving boots.
Nicky Butt - 6 - Battled hard but knocks and the pace of the game seems to be showing now.
Damien Duff - 4- Rank. No pace, no confidence, no final ball, plays everything about 2 seconds too late.
Michael Owen - 5 - Could have been a 9 on another day if he took his chances.
Alan Smith - 5 - No goal threat again. Looked better in midfield which is always a worry.
