Shut it Taylor

Shut it Taylor

Not content with baring his soul in the Chronicle other day, Steven Taylor has picked a right time to have a pop at the club over his proposed new contract. With everything going pear-shaped on the pitch he`s hardly helping by giving it the usual "I`m a Geordie me" patter on a daily basis trying to win the fans` sympathy following another Saturday shocker. Taylor said:

'The longer I hear nothing from the club the more I fear they want to sell me. If there is no offer on the table by the summer then I will have no choice but to look at my options.'

Once again - nice timing son.

it typifies newcastle united football club for me, players more interested in where their next pay packet is coming from rather than helping the club's on-pitch fortunes. this is where you have gone badly wrong over the past few seasons.

This guy has the right to say what he feels, if I were him it would have been... The club are *****e, the manager is *****e, we are going down and that is *****e and if I open my mouth often enough I will be sold to a decent club with real ambitions, someone like Derby.

He's a good player. I like Taylor. But unfortunately having a mouth can ruin a player. Gallas is a brilliant defender but when he opens his mouth, it just spouts crap.
