Pearson gets Southampton gig

Obviously impressed by our 6-0 humping by the Mancs in his last game in charge (don`t forget the spectacular 1-1 draw at relegated Watford!), Nigel Pearson takes his Bluetooth headset and makes the long trip down to the south coast. Having replaced Scotland-bound George Burley he takes over a club still struggling at the wrong end of the Championship and now out of the FA Cup. Pearson had previously been linked with Coventry, a post now destined for Chris Coleman.
