Dippers pair linked

The latest pair of strikers to be linked for our summer splurge are the hunky double act of Peter Crouch and Sloth from The Goonies (heyyyyyy you guyyyys!) aka Dirk Kuyt. Both have periodically appeared in despatches linked with NUFC, ever since Kuyt was at Feyenoord and Crouch was on the bench for most games. The papers quote a simply astronomical £20m for the pair.

We`ve also found ourselves linked with hot-prospect Motherwell striker Ross McCormack, along with Pancake Face Bruce`s Wigan and Aston Villa.

This rumour really is bull****. Whilst I have a lot of respect for Keegan, why on Earth would two players, who have a chance of playing in the Champions League every season with the likes of Gerrard and Torres, join a team that is heading for the Championship? The fans of the same team boo a player if he mistimes his shot or mistimes a tackle resulting in a free-kick.
Aamir
Or just boo them + the staff for no reason, agree with you Aamir
marron
Probably because the same two players linked are one in four goal scoring rate players who ‘The Mighty Liverpool’ probably need rid of if they are ever likely to mount a semi-serious challenge to Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea.
SirLes
well said aamir....why on earth would they move up to geordieland.their career will be finished.they have a knack for ruining a players career in recent seasons-owen,luque,martins,emre,duff,parker...even boumsong!all talented players signed from genuinely big teams who have won trophies in the last century. I think that they might just want to stay with 'the dippers' for the sake of trophies and champions league football than be abused every time they miss a chance.
El-Nino-9
Aye - because Boumsong had a cracking time at Juve and showed his real worth. Parker - hardly tore up trees at Chelski, Martins - minimal impact at Inter but 17 goals in his first season in Newcastle, Emre - full time bench warmer at Inter, Luque - we'll take the hit on that one, Owen - injuries to blame, not us, Duff - again injuries costing him like Owen.
