'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No short term loans

Having seen calamity Czech David Rozenhal packed off to Lazio on loan for the rest of the season, KK has put the blockers on the likes of Ameobi, Troisi and Carroll joining him as he aims to take stock of what sort of talent group we have at the club. He said:

"Absolutely no chance. We wouldn`t let anybody out on loan at the moment. We`ve let David Rozehnal go for reasons I`ve explained before, but we just wouldn`t be doing our jobs properly if we left this club bare. He can learn everything he needs to learn here at the moment.

There will be loads of times in the future when we get a bigger, stronger squad, and when everybody`s fit, that we can let players go out if we think it`s beneficial. I`ve never been scared to do that. I`ve done it quite a lot in my career as a manager, but at the moment Andy`s got to stay here and play, if asked, in the first team, and make the training competitive."
