'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dunne in?

January saw NUFC be repeatedly linked with Man City`s Micah Richards, prior to the young England defender tying himself to the club with a five and a half year deal. Now it seems his defensive partner Richard Dunne has jumped onto the radar following his stellar performance for the Blues against Man Utd at the weekend.

Some papers are suggesting he`ll take advantage of a new FIFA loophole to engineer a 1.5m move away from Eastlands. Personally I can`t see it. He`s a cracking defender but he`s loyal, has been City`s player of the year for three years running, can get a bumper contract there and is most likely going to be playing European football next season. A move to SJP would be (Ed: for a change) solely based on financial reward.
