'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Happy Gilmore on the reserves

Comedy legend Adam Sadler took time out from promoting the DVD release of "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" to coach the reserves on Monday night in their 1-1 draw v Villa. The star of such hits as Billy Madison and Little Nicky had the following to say:

'It was a really good performance against a very experienced team. If I had to pick out a few players I would say Edgar was magnificent. Fraser (Forster) made two great saves as well and Tamas Kader cruised through another game. Shola (Ameobi) worked tirelessly for the team and Andy (Carroll) showed real class again. He is a real handful.'

Positive stuff although I don`t think the bloke could have got it any more wrong about Shola.
