Given - 5 - Did nothing wrong up until his withdrawal tough his kicking was suspect due to the now obligatory 'tight groin`.
Beye - 4 - Jetlagged or what? Never got forward, struggled badly at the back.
Taylor - 5 - Coped reasonably with Carew first half but sh*t it when it was him and Harewood in tandem.
Cacapa - 3 - Ridden rough-shod again when faced with physical forwards. In no way, shape or form cut out for the Premier League.
Carr - 2 - Brain spasms for the penalty, sh*te otherwise. Get shot of quick.
Milner - 6 - An undoubted MOTM for me against his former club. A trier, with some degree of end product he`d be even better.
Butt - 4 - Spent more time arguing than getting stuck in.
Barton - 1 - Ridiculous actions, re: Maloney. Could have cost us big style. I`m hoping he gets suspended if only to keep him out of the team.
Duff - 4- From world beater for the ROI to egg beater for us. Where`s his pace gone?
Smith - 3 - First touch of a rapist. Adds no goalscoring threat.
Owen - 6 - Well taken goal, fashioned another chance, f*ck all in the way of service as per usual.
Subs:
Harper - 6 - Made some canny stops from Gardner.
